Inventory Submission Terms
Last updated August 20, 2026.
These terms apply when you submit inventory data — a stock list, an availability feed, or individual part records — to honest.aero, operated by Airplane Parts Direct LLC (“we”, “us”). They are in addition to our Terms of Use.
1. What you are submitting
Inventory data means part numbers, conditions, quantities, locations, certification status, and any related availability information you provide. You confirm that you have the right to share it and that doing so does not breach an agreement with anyone else.
2. What we may do with it
You grant us a non-exclusive, revocable licence to use your inventory data to match your stock against buyer requests, to display an aggregate availability signal on part pages, and to contact you about specific requirements. The licence ends when you withdraw the data (section 6).
We do not sell your inventory data, license it onward as a dataset, or use it to build a competing listing service.
3. What we publish, and what we never publish
On a part page, submitted inventory may contribute an aggregate signal — for example that a number of sellers in the network report stock. We publish that only where enough independent sellers report it that no individual position can be identified.
We never publish:
- your company name alongside a part, a price, or a quantity;
- your exact quantities, locations, or serial numbers;
- any price you have quoted us, individually or attributably.
Our methodology sets out the same commitments for quote data and explains the thresholds involved.
4. Inventory never creates a page
A part page on this site exists because a real buyer asked for that part. Submitting inventory does not create a page, does not influence which parts we publish, and cannot be used to buy placement. Where a page already exists, your stock may add an availability signal to it — nothing more.
5. Accuracy and staleness
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit and for keeping it current. We treat inventory data as stale after 45 days and stop showing any signal derived from it until it is refreshed.
We make no warranty to buyers about your stock, and we do not guarantee that submitting inventory will produce enquiries or sales.
6. Withdrawing your data
Email legal@honest.aero and we will remove your inventory data and stop using it. No explanation is required, and it will not affect whether we send you quote requests.
Removal is applied in code, not held as an internal note, and any aggregate signal that depended on your data is recalculated without it.
7. Liability
You indemnify us against claims arising from inventory data you had no right to share. Neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes
If we change these terms materially we will tell submitting sellers directly rather than relying on this page being re-read. Continuing to submit data after that notice means you accept the change.
