For aircraft parts suppliers
Better RFQs. Clear expectations. Your quotes stay private.
honest.aero and Airplane Parts Direct are building direct relationships with aircraft parts suppliers, distributors, OEM representatives and repair organizations. Tell us what you support, how you prefer to receive requests and when we should call.
honest.aero is operated by Airplane Parts Direct LLC. APD is the sourcing and transaction desk; honest.aero publishes carefully gated aggregate market context.
No listing fee. No pay-to-play placement. No public supplier names or individual quotes.
More relevant RFQs
We learn your product lines, preferred conditions and response requirements before routing demand.
A direct working relationship
Set the email, format and escalation path that works for your sales and AOG teams.
Protected commercial information
We do not publish supplier names or individual quotes.
Useful demand
A supplier relationship built around useful demand
In aviation parts sourcing, a poorly routed RFQ wastes time on both sides. Our goal is to understand what your organization is equipped to support, then contact you when a real requirement fits.
A useful request should identify the exact part number, requested condition, quantity, destination, required date and documentation expectations whenever the buyer has provided them. If something important is missing, we should say so instead of asking you to price an incomplete requirement.
Tell us about:
- the manufacturers, platforms and product lines you support;
- the conditions and transaction types you quote;
- your available certification and trace documentation;
- the regions you serve and your shipping capabilities;
- your preferred RFQ format and response channel; and
- the right escalation path for urgent or aircraft-on-ground requirements.
Working sequence
How the relationship works
- 01
Tell us where you are strong
Share the product lines, conditions, regions and documentation packages your team handles best.
- 02
Receive relevant requirements
APD routes relevant aircraft parts RFQs to suppliers whose stated capabilities appear to fit. You decide which requests to quote.
- 03
Quote on your terms
Use your preferred response channel and state the price, condition, lead time, quantity and documentation available for the specific unit or offer.
- 04
Build a better working history
Clear responses and resolved outcomes help us route future requirements more accurately. Participation does not guarantee RFQ volume or an order.
From requirement to context
- Buyer requirement
- APD sourcing desk
- Relevant suppliers
- Current offers
- Eligible aggregate context
- Better-informed demand
Eligible aggregate context never exposes supplier identities or individual quotes.
Privacy and market intelligence
What honest.aero does with market observations
honest.aero is designed to make limited market context more useful without exposing the suppliers that contribute to it.
We do not publish supplier names. We do not publish individual quotes. Receipt of a quote does not automatically authorize public use.
A numeric range may be published only when the underlying observations have the necessary rights and pass the applicable privacy, freshness, quality and concentration gates. Published ranges require at least three eligible quotes from at least three independent suppliers. Information is withheld when the data is too thin, concentrated, stale, rights-restricted or reasonably inferable.
Historical observations are not current offers and do not prove that a transaction closed at the displayed value.
Supplier fit
Who we want to hear from
We welcome conversations with organizations that can support identifiable aviation requirements and clearly describe the material, condition and documentation they are offering.
- OEMs and authorized distributors
- Independent aircraft parts distributors
- Repair organizations and component shops
- Teardown and surplus-material specialists
- Specialized stockists and product-line experts
- Organizations with structured product, interchange or availability data they have the right to share
A conversation or form submission does not constitute approval as a supplier. Transaction-specific quality, trace, export and commercial checks still apply.
No hidden commitment
Start with a conversation, not a contract
There is no charge to introduce your capabilities, and you are not required to quote every request. We want to learn where your team is useful, explain how information is handled and establish the right contact path before an urgent requirement arrives.
